Consider contributing to my Patreon at https://patreon.com/OurOwnDevices Two years ago, I approached the Railway Station Museum in Miami, Manitoba with an ambitious proposal: to excavate, move, and display a Nuclear Detonation and Fallout Reporting System (NDFRS) Fallout Reporting Post (FRP) on the Museum grounds to replicate the one that used to stand there in the early 1960s. To my surprise, the Museum - and the entire town - immediately jumped on board. On November 14, 2023, after more than a year of planning and obtaining permits, we finally succeeded in excavating an FRP at Moose Lake, Manitoba, and transporting it to Miami. The plan is to fully restore the shelter, modify it for easier public access, and display it with all the proper equipment it would have held if NDFRS had reached active status. This is an exciting milestone, and I can't wait to see how the rest of the project pans out! MORE ON NDFRS: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9K_kQ60gAl8&t=1s https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EEEZglNlL1A
